Seoul Biennale
3. Mjesto Vizualne komunikacije
Seoul Biennale of Architecture & Urbanism is an international event that connects global cities’ contemporary and future aspects. The event covers various studies such as sociology, geography, economy, art and culture to find the perspective and answers to fundamental questions regarding cities: how one understands cities, required philosophies and approaches for cities, and essential things to remember during the process of developing cities. Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism focuses on issues and proposals, not on authors and works. Centered on the themes of Nine Commons, the Seoul Biennale is organized along two major sections: exhibitions installed during the Biennale period and the public programs during the corresponding year. The exhibitions consist of Thematic Exhibition, Cities Exhibition and Live Projects Seoul. Public Programs include International Studios, Film and Video Program, Workshops, Lectures and Tour Program which offer a communicative platform for citizens. It is one of the principal forums of debate about the future of cities, not just in Asia but globally.
